Glad to see it now works! Remember, it will be best if you click that script before open an instance of Iron.
Disable the Adblock extension now and see if the adblock.ini works to your satisfaction.
If you run across something that is not being blocked, you can add it to the linklist.txt file, and it will be added to adblock.ini the next time you run the script. Look at the way links are formatted in the adblock.ini file to see how you may need to add them.

I'm scratching my head as to why you are getting the pages with history shown on them. Your settings are like mine when I use about:blank. The only difference is that I have the 'Show the Home button on the toolbar' checked so I can click to 'go home' when I want.
Let me play with things a bit more. I run in the 'private' mode all of the time, so I will need to check using the standard mode of Iron.

Do I need to keep the desktop "adblock.js icon" & keep double clicking on it or can I delete it after clicking it once?

Thanks.

I don't have a good answer to your new tab question. But it appears at this time you can't easily create a new tab that is blank. There is something called Chrome Tabs that is a way to manipulate tabs, but it is beyond my capabilities, or at least what I am willing to do to solve a problem.
It can be seen here. http://code.google.com/chrome/extensions/tabs.html

Try creating a bookmark on your bookmark bar labeled about:blank, right click on it, and tell it open in a new tab. The long way around, but it works(at least it does for me).
May be better to just do the new tab and ignore the history and stupid assed thumb nails, and go on about our business.

Here are some keyboard short cuts you may be interested in.

adblock-update.vbs of Scream81 is perhaps better usable, needs only leftclicks like any application, and its linkable.

Just for Iron fun another proposal, an individual extension for my own need: slide.js in pubext.crx extension (http://yourfiles.to/?d=5AB2097B15) against left sticking websites (http://oi55.tinypic.com/ev3kmb.jpg), optional using gmote keys-gestures (working with all programs http://oi52.tinypic.com/kdrc4h.jpg) - F9 makes websites via frame hor. movable, left doubleclick sometimes can remove remaining ads, eventful graphics and shows forgotten links.

Just keep it disabled for a while. You may not like adblock.ini, and want it back someday. In case you didn't know, the Adblock extension requires you to subscribe to a list to keep it up dated

NO, DON'T DELETE THE ICON YET!! You will need to click it before you start a Iron each time, to keep the files block list current.

Ironfan's stuff goes way over my head as well. He knows a lot more, and doesn't mind playing with things. He also suggested you use the adblock_update.vbs file to get the list for updating daily , or as often as you wish. I think I agree with him, and will try to help you get it and then get it working if that is what you want.

Yes! that way it gets updated to the latest fanboy list. It is NOT an automatic updater. Manual only!

Forget the tabs thing, OK?
As far as adblcok_update.vbs, it is really not much different than what you are using. It uses another of Windows tools for the script.
I will put a copy of in a Private Message (a PM) to you that you can copy and paste into Notepad document, and 'Save As' to your desktop as adblock_update.vbs if you want. I think I know where your Iron is installed now, so it won't be a problem(I hope).
