I was wondering whether it would make sense to use the now broadly used '7z' compression instead of 'zip' for the portable version of SRWare Iron.
Comparing the size of the two archives (14.5 MBytes for '7z' vs. 22.7 MBytes for the zip file of v7.0.520.0) shows up quite a significant difference.
Likewise in the Linux area one can find that more and more projects are moving to offer 'xz' archives either in addition or as alternative to 'gz' or 'bz2'.
