How do I completely remove Iron for a clean install

I use Iron on my computers. Recently I had a failing hard drive on my MacBook Pro laptop. They replaced my hard drive and moved all of my data over. Now Iron runs ok, but it will not shutdown. I have to force quit Iron before I can shutdown the laptop. I have re-downloaded Iron and run the new .app file, but that doesn't fix it.
How do I completely uninstall Iron so I can install it again on a mac. Is there any way I can keep my settings?
