Print Selection

When selecting a section of a web page for printing, the "selection" is grayed out from the print function.

Any ideas on how to just print what we want? I have to copy the selection and paste to word to print just the highlighted section.

I get that too, but if I highlight something, it just assumes that I want the selected text and does exactly what I needed.

i cannot get text on any webpage to print. comes out blank, but images on the page print fine.
all other browsers print the page ok.
