Seconded. I have not kept up with linux versions of chrome for quite a while, last I heard there was a problem with sandboxed processes - Does anyone know if that has been solved?

Anybody else have this same problem?
Try this:
open an empty adblock.ini with nano
open http://www.srware.net/downloads/adblock.ini in your browser
copy everything
paste it into nano
save

this could be needed because the adblock.ini is formated with windows line-breaks
Where is this /opt/ dir located or do I need to create it?
I am using ubuntu 10.04.

I hope someone could help, because I do not know how to use adblock.ini on ubuntu.

Hi!

I've Iron on my Debian/sid, but it seem that it hasn't support for html5...
Can you help me or solve that?

Also I want to ask, like alexan, why don't make a .deb... or even a repository?

Thanks for your attention,

Ciao!!!

Greetings,
Let me first thank you for creating this version of Chrome. :)
I would like to create a package of this for the FreeBSD posrts system. While I could reverse-engineer the
Linux version, it would not be efficient. Where can I find the source?

Thank you for all your time and consideration.

Thank you for this fantastic web browser! This is my first use of it but so far, I find it a really great program and, I believe, that I will use it for (most, if not all) my web browsing from here on (to test it and to see whether it will be THE web browser I CONTINUE to use)!

I've used Windows Internet Explorer (when I use Windows, which is not often anymore ... only when I want to play a game that won't run on Linux [I'm using Puppy Linux ... currently, Lupu 5.1.0]), Firefox (up to the current version) :ironvsff , Seamonkey (up to the current version), Opera (up to the current version) :ironvsopera , Midori (up to the current version), Konqueror (up to the current version), Dillo (up to the current version), Arora (up to the current version), and Chrome (up to the current version)...I've also used versions of (most of) these in Linux. Firefox, Seamonkey, and Opera have been the web browsers of choice (both in Windows as well as in Linux) because of their security features and adaptability ... now, I can add Iron to that list! (and possibly to the foremost of the list?)

I just would like to say GREAT JOB on a fantastic web browser! :D

Thank you,
QBall

I just installed the latest version for the first time on my Linux Mint Debian box and I get this error every time I open the browser:

Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of Iron.

Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use a newer version of Iron.

I did have chromium installed but have uninstalled it...I have seen a few post regarding profile/windows but nothing for Linux...

You must delete the profile folder, too:
~/.config/chromium/Default
