Incognito mode in a tab instead of a new window?

Is it possible to open incognito mode in an existing window, without having to open a new one?

That would probably defeat the purpose of the incognito mode.
You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.
I don't think the program would be easily adapted to be incognito in one tab and NOT incognito in another.
I just run everything incognito. (Yeah, I'm kind of paranoid!)

I've ran the latest version of opera on an older computer that still has win 2000 so can't use iron browser.

I see in opera, you can run private mode (which is the same as iron / chrome's incognito mode) in a new tab in the same window.

Just wondering if that was possible.
