Why dont download AdBlock Plus addon for chromium-bases browsers instead of using intregated AdBlock

^ I did install the Adblcock Plus extension a while back. It slowed Iron down for me, so I took it out. May be a different story for you, or others, but it's not for me.

BTW, Adblock Plus for Firefox, also slows it down. And that's using the Fanboy list. The so called 'easylist' was worse as far as slowing Firefox down.

It still comes down to what works best for each user.

COPY the code on the previous page of this postings, then PASTE it into a Notepad document.
Save it to your desktop as adblock.ini
You will need to adjust the 'const destination' line near the top of the code to where your Iron is actually installed.
With Iron closed, double click the saved file. It should retrieve the fanboy list, and write it to your Iron folder.

I apologize! Paste the copied code to a Notepad document,
SAVE it to your desktop,
and NAME IT adblock.vbs
NOT the adblock.ini name I said before.
My head apparently was not in a good place when I typed that!
