Does the new European Microsoft 'browser ballot screen' include SRWare Iron?

Well, if they're going to include Google Chrome it's only fair to include SRWare Iron! ;)

It could work. I'm pretty sure a lot of people use Iron, at least as many as use SlimBrowser, K-Meleon & Sleipner (which as far as I know are all on the ballot choice). I don't think I'll get the ballot screen anyway as I don't have IE 8 set as my default browser & I have the updating on manual. It would be interesting to see data on how many people actually do use SRWare Iron compared to other browsers.

I strongly doubt it. In comparison, only very few people use SRware Iron. If they were going to add more browser then those few large ones, it'd be too confusing for your average joe.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with darkdevil1. I think the number of Iron users is much fewer than the number of SlimBrowser, K-Meleon & Sleipner users.

And I notice the smiley face after the post about "If they're going to include Google Chrome it's only fair to include SRWare Iron". I assume that was meant to be a joking statement. The first 5 browsers in the ballot screen are the top 5 browsers in terms of usage (although shown in random order). Google Chrome is there because it has 5% worldwide usage.

Getting Iron browser included into the 12 browsers of the ballot screen will require a significant number of regular Iron users.

The seven additional web browsers are Maxthon, Flock, K-Melon, Avant Browser, Sleipnir, Green Browser and Slim Browser.
