Unlike normal internet browsers SRWare Iron will not remember the previous directory which was used to save the last file, therefore if I want to save a number of files to the same location I have to manually select each directory again with every new download.

Another issue is that once the downloads are completed they do not disappear from the download bar once they are opened.

I hope these problems will be fixed soon.

OK I managed to sort out the problem.

In order for Iron to remember the directory you last saved, you need to go to Options, Minor Tweaks and then make sure a tick is in the check box that says 'Ask where to save each file before downloading'
