Hi,

The 64 bit build is silently crashing consistently.
Crashing with 0xC0000409 / ERROR_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN.
Unhandled exception at 0x0000015D2E2349B0 chrome.exe: RangeChecks instrumentation code detected an out of range array access.

These look like 32 bit pointers being incorrectly cast or directly passed to a 64 bit function.

Also... it silently downloads the BITS update extension:
C:\Users\SomeUser\AppData\Local\Temp\chrome_BITS_3344_8658\extension_1_4_8_903.crx

then proceeds to install the widevinecdm extension. How can I prevent extensions from being downloaded silently?

Also... this thing is creating alot of files in the folder "C:\Program" while browsing with incognito enabled.

Hi,

Your browser product is spraying files all over the hard drive. Are you compiling 'SRWare Iron' and adding/mixing unmodified chromium components such as natives_blob.bin and snapshot_blob.bin from Chromium project without recompiling?

It also writes to C:\Users\{Some User}\AppData\Local\Chromium\

For the record... your 'SRWare Iron' browser is the only Chromium based browser installed. No other Chromium based browser has ever been installed. This is a new Window 10 installation.

OK,

So I debugged the problem.
When I open a local PDF file from the hard drive with the 'SRWare Iron' browser it created the default Chromium profile. Stack looks like this:

Hello!

Thing I've noticed with the latest update is that everything seems "bigger". Text, The YouTube page and player are bigger - Forums seem wider and both Twitter and Facebook look magnified and slightly odd as a result.

Best wishes all.
