Hi, thanks for your great browser! :)

I downloaded the 4.0.280 stable installer, but in the version data in file properties it says the version is 4.0.275. Is there any way to check I really got the 4.0.280 version? I downloaded it from the official link http://www.srware.net/downloads/srware_iron.exe

Thanks!!!

You are right, that is a bug in the installer. I will update it later. Just check the version the installer puts out on the first screen.

I just downloaded 4.0.280. It looks great. :D Everything seems to be working fine at the moment. The 'back button' bug seems to have been fixed. The browser seems even faster, & it is already the fastest I have ever seen! Excellent job!

Everything seems to work well for me, too. But there are still apparently no mouse gesture extensions that work. The ones that are available are from last summer and not up-to-date. So, I'm still using Gmote, though I'm hoping that eventually we will see gestures native (or at least available by extension) for v. 4. :D

Not a huge issue but the dictionary is marking everything I write as mispelled. Is there an option I am missing? Thanks

Never mind I changed to English UK and the dictionary is much larger.

Chrome Gestures - Version: 1.10.1 is working fine for me on this new build. I won't even think about switching to a new browser if it doesn't have mouse gestures. Glad chrome gestures is working for me.

I have a question about this browser though. I've been looking at trying Iron out & have been waiting till v4 stable came out to jump in, so I finally did so yesterday. Overall I like it, seems pretty quick, main drawback for me though is not many extensions (I'm used to Firefox). So my question for now is does this browser have a history of opening so many instances of itself in the WIndows task manager? I have only 3 tabs open but iron.exe shows 10 times in task manager, is this normal? Has it been like this for previous versions and/or does anyone else have this on this version? It appears as though an instance is running for each tab, plus each extension I have running, plus 2 more (3 tabs, 5 extensions & still 2 more instances). I can understand an instance for each tab but I'm surprised at it for the extensions. I'm running Win7 64bit if that makes any difference.

edit: Smooth gestures also working for me. I had to install & then restart browser for them to work correctly, but them seem good now. Smooth gestures seems more customizable then Chrome gestures.

Try to remove an old iron-installtion and may clean your Profile-Folder with "CC-Cleaner".
