Re: New Iron-Version: 24.0.1350.0 Stable for Linux
Sorry in advance if this is the wrong location for this.
It appears that the debian package does not provide all of the virtual packages that firefox, chromium and other popular browsers supply, such as www-browser.
This means that attempting to uninstall any other browsers forces the installation of yet another, even though iron should be perfectly capable of providing it.
A minor but annoying bug.

Re: New Iron-Version: 24.0.1350.0 Stable for Linux
Sorry if a wrong thread (move it please or point me where to start a fresh one) but iron-linux.tar.gz (32-Bit) doesn't work for me here.
Debian Stable (Squeeze). Simply can't open settings, history etc, just a blank page. Previous version is OK.
I'll post console error messages a bit later today. Is there anyone who can confirm this?

Re: New Iron-Version: 24.0.1350.0 Stable for Linux
PROBLEMS REPORT.
(1) Settings page (chrome://settings/) is blank.
(2) Tools -> Extensions page (chrome://extensions/) is blank.
(3) About page (chrome://chrome/) is blank.
Exactly the same problem on two different Linux Mint 13 systems.
Really.
I'm going to revert back to the previous release of SRware Iron.

Re: New Iron-Version: 24.0.1350.0 Stable for Linux
With the 32 bits version (deb or .tar.gz), I can't see anything when I want to show the about version (chrome://chrome) or when I want to clear browser data (chrome://chrome/settings/clearBrowserData). Page is blank. I don't understand what happens!
Works fine with the 64 bits version.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Re: New Iron-Version: 24.0.1350.0 Stable for Linux
Ok, I' m not sure if this is place to post this but anyway. I downloaded and installed version 24 for linux. I use it on a Mint Maya (Ubuntu Precise based distro), and till version 23 it worked well. Now when I try to open a tab to change: settings, extensions or even to see the about info nothing appears just a blank tab.
Looking forward to have some help, thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Havilson
