Re: New Iron-Version: 12.0.750.0 Stable for Linux
The "Iron pour Linux: Infos et Téléchargement" french link targets to "New Iron-Version: 11.0.700.2 Stable for Linux" rather than "New Iron-Version: 12.0.750.0 Stable for Linux"...
Thank you in advance.

Re: New Iron-Version: 12.0.750.0 Stable for Linux
Just a quick suggestion on the debian packages I installed the 32bit deb and the binary is located in /usr/share/iron/iron this is not standard and it is not in anybody's path by default
I suggest the binary either goes in /usr/bin/iron or run a script to make a symbolic link to /usr/bin
Thanks DaSteele

I wonder how to make Srware Iron my default browser in Ubuntu, because it asks at every launch. Is it possible ?

Re: New Iron-Version: 12.0.750.0 Stable for Linux
when installing in Ubuntu, it gives some warning like this:
E: iron: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object usr/share/iron/iron
E: iron: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object usr/share/iron/libavcodec.so.52
E: iron: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object usr/share/iron/libavformat.so.52
E: iron: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object usr/share/iron/libavutil.so.50
E: iron: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object usr/share/iron/libffmpegsumo.so
and says Srware Iron has not been evaluated...
So it doesn't want to become default browser, and ask it at every launch ! Have you got a solution, because i think i have enough evaluated it, to use it...

BEFORE YOU ASK, SEARCH THE FORUM! (and google your problem if you don't find it here). THEN ASK!bertrand47 wrote:I wonder how to make Srware Iron my default browser in Ubuntu, because it asks at every launch. Is it possible ?
This problem had been discussed here many times, just spend a minute searching for the solution!
I'll save you the work this time:
