Re: New Iron-Version: 33.0.1800.0 Stable for Windows
Clicking on links no longer opens Iron as default browser. I thought you'd sorted this issue out with the last version? Its so frustrating.

I just said that - I installed AVG Do Not Track extension - it allows you to block virtually everything in the settings panel.

Re: Win 8 Pro (x64) compatibility?
Yeah, this is simply not good enough, and I've gone back to Chrome. Hopefully Iron will fix this issue. I found by adding the free AVG track blocker extension to Chrome blocks virtually all analytics (including Google) and other ads effectively which is what Iron is supposed to do anyway and the onl...

Re: Iron as DefaultBrowser - Tool
Why is this problem not fixed? Even in the latest version (9th april '13) the tool still doesn't work in Windows 8. It says "Go" and "done!" but still IE is the default browser, not Iron. When I try to change the default from within Iron settings page I get a Windows pop-up asking to choose default ...

Re: Win 8 Pro (x64) compatibility?
Well I tried the above options but I still can't get Iron to be my default browser. Windows 8 doesn't recognise it as a browser. I tried running the default browser .exe in Iron and got the pop-up message to make Iron the default browser. It said "ok!" but didn't change a thing - Explorer remains de...

Re: New Iron-Version: 24.0.1350.0 Stable for Windows
You have to be a bit patient with bookmarks after installation. The drop down box does work after a while. I suggest you clear Browser history, cache, etc and also do a a registry clean with your pc registry cleaner. I've noticed opening Iron via an email link now works fine. The only thing that doe...

Re: New Iron-Version: 23.0.1300.0 Stable for Windows
Having the same problem with bookmarks - the bookmarks folder tree stalls and doesn't open or scroll properly. I will have to re-install the last version I'm afraid as I need my bookmarks.

Re: New Iron-Version: 23.0.1300.0 Stable for Windows
Glad to see new update. However I still have same problem of Iron crashing when it tries to open from an email link. It now works ok if browser is already open, but crashes if the link tries to open Iron from scratch.
