I fixed it by uninstalling the new update and re-.installing the previous version. Now I had kept a backup of the Chromium folder in APP DATA..............so I just replaced the new one and the plugins are back and work. And the version says it's the new update..........................mindboggling,...

Christ ,just installed the new version and both are missing from my plugins and no site works with flash...........it keeps saying to install it.

Your advice to install AdBlock and then cook up a script is about as lame as it can get. Yup installing Adblock+ solved the problem,guess Adblock wasn't enough.
