Re: Changing default search engine
Not a good development for SRWare Iron. I am about to install version 23, without any hopes that we are out of the control of Google, Yahoo, and Bin. Jaragua Google, Bing, and Yahoo! are default because of Chromium, that's where they get the source code from. Your preset search does not stay when u...

Re: strange window appears over the forum page
Your advice to install AdBlock and then cook up a script is about as lame as it can get. The problem is your pop up ad that is deliberatly designed to be difficult to remove without loading the crapware you're pushing. How about this for a solution? Forum DEVs, remove the pop up for the crapware! I...

Re: Browser privacy check
Those tests require you not to be connected to the internet at all to pass them.
So, it is more conflicting to rely on it, but the test does have a point, we are not secure while online regardless of browser.

Iron 20 and X-Marks
Every time I try to get to the options for the bookmarks with the setup screen, it just crashes the browser.
Anyone else can confirm this and/or has a solution?

Re: Feature Suggestion For Iron
I would like to see a bookmarks sidebar built in like Firefox has. I like to see all my bookmarks as I have several that I need to open one after another and the sidebar really helps out with this. can this be done, or can you only do what google programs in? This can be done, CoolNovo (Previously ...

Re: Best Way To Block Ads??
If that is what it says for the add-on in Chrome's Extension site, then almost all of the extensions will tell you that, not that the majority is really doing that just stating it as part of their creed. Also, I recommend Ghostery if you have a tracking problem, it will also state the same thing as ...

Re: Changing default search engine
If you go to the Ixquick site, you will see the link "Add to Chrome."
It is very simple to add the engine from there.
Next, you will go to the options and "Manage Search Engines," under Basics, it is a no-nonsense process.
