Re: Iron Updater Official
The Iron Updater Extension (v1.0.0.0) says my installed version of Iron is out of date (62.0.3202.94), but when I click on "About Iron" (chrome://settings/help), it shows that I am using the latest version (63.0.3300.0). Which one is correct? I may have solved this issue (on my machine, at least): ...

Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, SpywareBlaster and Iron
In addition to Malwarebytes' outstanding Anti-Malware software (MBAM), Malwarebytes also offers a somewhat lesser known (but very powerful) protection that is called Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (MBAE), which is particularly helpful in preventing sites from exploiting weaknesses in Chrome, IE, and Fire...

Re: New Iron-Version: 38.0.2050.0 Stable for Windows
I'm experiencing a couple of problems with Iron 38.0.2050.0. I have now uninstalled Iron 38 and reinstalled Iron 36. (1) Increased Zoom Level The entire Iron 38 browser appears to be set at an increased zoom level. The address/search field is larger and the text inside it is larger, and the tabs abo...

How to print web fonts
Using Iron, when I print a web page (to a physical printer or by printing to PDF), the text on the page comes out garbled if the site uses web fonts, like Google fonts. Those same pages print perfectly using Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and even Internet Explorer ... but not Iron. I've seen some ...

Re: New Iron-Version: 25.0.1400.0 Stable for Windows
Hey...I don't know how, but I seem to have fixed the problem I reported in the prior post regarding www.Orbitz.com. I turned off all my extensions, and then I turned them all on again, and the bug I described disappeared. Now www.Orbitz.com displays properly. I don't understand it...but I guess that...

Re: New Iron-Version: 25.0.1400.0 Stable for Windows
Iron seems to be having problems websites that Google Chrome does not. For example, http://www.Orbitz.com (or http://www.Orbitz.de). For some reason, Iron cannot display this website properly, even though it displays properly in IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome. The Iron browser creates an extremely l...

Re: Launching Incognito (without shortcut)
I think I found a half-solution to this problem: (1) Set Iron as your default browser. (2) Manually launch Iron in Incognito mode and leave it running (it can be minimized or mazimized...doesn't matter). (3) Now when you click on a link (for example, in an email), it will automatically open that lin...

Launching Incognito (without shortcut)
Yes, I know how to launch Iron in Incognito mode by modifying a desktop shortcut settings. However, I would like Iron to launch in Incognito mode when the program is started by external shortcuts and links. For example, if you get a web link in an email and you click on it to browse to that address,...

turn off omnibox suggestions
First, I have to say THANK YOU to SRWare for compiling Iron. It really is the "Browser of the Future." Now my question: How can we REALLY turn off the Omnibox Suggestion list that Chrome and Iron still feed us? I gather that Iron sets the Omnibox to provide browsing "suggestions" that it pulls ONLY ...
