Re: SRWare Iron + block content

See for yourself - http://www.chromeextensions.org/appearance-functioning/adblock/ the built-in blocker actually keeps content from loading this, and all "AdBlock" extensions for Chrome, merely hides co...

Re: Norton just reported high risk

You use Norton? Seriously? An antivirus that is associated with ripping people off, being forcefully pre-installed on computers, and slowing down your system as a whole? Please get a good antivirus, like Microsoft Security Essentials. Additionally, realize that if you lock down your system well enou...

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475.1 Stable for Windows

You know how some PC video games have a separate executable for configuration and setup? A separate executable which could, - Clear Private Data - Update adblock list - Check for updates to SRWare Iron - Configure Iron settings - Configure Iron switches - etc. would be a great. Additionally, - The a...

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475.1 Stable for Windows

SRWare,
Are there any plans on addressing other criticisms of Chrome in the upcoming release?

To rephrase,
Aside from the current standard feature set of Iron, are there any additional features that you are planning to implement that Chrome does not have?

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475 Stable for Windows

Downloading files (like jar / zip) from docs.google.com causes a redirect error in Iron 5 and Iron 6.
Just try it, upload an compressed file and then try to download it.

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475 Stable for Windows

Removing http:// is an oversimplification. Same thing goes for comparing Chrome 5 interface with Chrome 6 interface. Chrome 6 is faster, but its interface offers less power. SRWare Iron is much faster than Chrome due to true and performance friendly adblocking. SRWare Iron is more privacy conscious ...

Re: AdBlock Plus only works in Version 6?

Using an abdlocking plugin will slow down SRWare Iron.

The main performance advantage of SRWare Iron is really fast adblocking mechanism (adblock.ini).

Using SRWare Iron with and Adblock Plugin will make it no faster than Chrome 6.
