Re: Latest Windows version - play Flash without hoop jumping>>> THAT"S A BIG NO!

Never mind! Flash in the latest version of Iron is as FUBAR'f as Chrome, chromium, and one other chromium browser I have tried. So I am stuck with the 16.0.9.0 version of the Slimjet browser because it still has the 'Always detect important content on this site' option. I don't think I should have t...

Latest Windows version - play Flash without hoop jumping

So does the latest 32 bit version run flash without having to ram through all of the road blocks the chromium and Google devs have put in the way?

Re: Iron 64 bit and flash---- problem

Try using the FLASH UNINSTALLER and reinstall it after restarting your system(s).

Sometimes things get a bit corrupted with too many 'updates'

I never allow FLASH to automatically update! IT WILL create problems eventually.

Re: New Iron-Version: 37.0.2000.0 Stable for Windows

With 64bit version, when I browse some web sites, I get this error "Shockwave Flash has crashed". May be because of 32bit plugin version on a 64bit browser? Short answer, YES! I had the same thing happen. Long answer>>> I went back to the 32bit Iron because I have FIrefox test browsers that require...

Re: Iron 64 bit and flash---- problem

I need to clarify this a bit. Flash didn't work with the 64bit version because my version of Flash is 32bit. So there was a very good reason for it not working. I need the 32bit Flash for testing in Firefox alpha/beta browsers that don't come in 64bit version. So I had to go back to Iron 32bit. I re...

Iron 64 bit and flash---- problem

Some Flash things won't play in the 64 bit I put on my Win8.1 machine. There were a lot of videos on YouTube that 'crashed' the 64 bit version of Iron. Anyone have an idea why? And/or what needs to be done to make them work. I Had to drop back to the 32 bit. (Which meant I had to do the freaking ext...

No more updates for me due to the following

I spent the better part of my evening getting things BACK to where I had them AGAIN because of the hard resets Google does to the browser during the update(s). THAT FREAKING SUCKS! ESPECIALLY WHEN NOTHING WAS WRONG FOR THE ASSHOLES TO DO A HARD RESET! IT IS BUILT INTO THE UPDATES! I'm about to set u...

Why your Iron settings change with updates

https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en&ref_topic=3434353 Read that crap! Google uses all kinds of excuses to explain why the settings and things change, BUT THE ASSHOLES forget to tell you that they caused it by doing a hard RESET when NOT A THING WAS WRONG! Chrome detected that som...

Re: NO MORE CHROME EXTENSIONS!

I stopped updating Iron at Version 30.0.1650.0 (230000). Too damned many things started showing up that were there up to V30, then it seems every release after had more and more things go away. Nothing against the Iron Developers, they just use the code that underlies the chromium browsers. Not thei...

Re: How do I add ixquick to the list?

Go to https://startpage.com/ there you can add it as your home page, AND add it to your search list. I don't think you will find a more secure search engine. Read the disclaimer when you mouse over the 'Details' under the 'Enhanced by Google' crap. YES it uses Google search, NO it doesn't cal home e...
