I unpacked the package in my home bin directory and tried running iron from the command line, and got ./iron: symbol lookup error: ./iron: undefined symbol: g_signal_override_class_handler So I poked around and tried running the chrome-wrapper script with --help, and got this: ./chrome-wrap...

You can run the binary by simply double clicking on the "iron" executable. Make sure you have allowed the binary to be executable. You can make a launcher for your app list or panel and point it at the binary, too.

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.227 Beta for Linux
Hello. Where are the user settings for this linux version stored? I used Iron for a while. Then I deleted the whole directory from my /home; then extracted it again and launched the program, and I still have the theme and all the settings just as I used to have in the first directory. I think it is...

Is it possible to use fanboy's adblock.ini with the newest Linux version of Iron? Putting it in the .iron folder doesn't work... or is there some other adblocking method?

Re: New Iron-Version: 3.0.197 Alpha for Linux
Hey, For some reason I can't executre chrom on Ubuntu 9.04. When I execute it just by double clicking it does nothing. When I execute from the prompt (./) it writes illegal instructions. What am I doing wrong? THANKS! Did you allow the binary to be an executable? Right click it, Properties > Permis...

If I try to navigate to Wikipedia, it renders for a split second, and then Iron crashes and the window closes.
It works okay on other sites, though. This is on Ubuntu 9.04.

I am not complaining... this was just for the information of others, since the original poster did not mention what happened with his attempt to use Iron.
