Re: Bookmarks and latest update
The only suggestion that I can think of is to re-install the old version of Iron. If your bookmarks are still on your computer somewhere, then re-installing the old version may reactivate them again. If it does, then you should immediately export them to an HTML file through the bookmark manager so ...

Re: SSL 3.0 vulnerability "Poodle"- disabling SSL 3.0 suppor
I was able to get the parameter to work by changing the exe name in the shortcut target to chrome.exe. This might open Iron with no extensions, but it worked for me.

Re: SRWare Iron doesn't works
Some extensions have been known to cause this type of problem. Have you tried disabling all extensions in Iron? If not, try disabling them all and restarting the browser to see if that fixes it. If that doesn’t work, then perhaps your graphics drivers need to be updated. (Sometimes after a format th...

Re: Interested in Iron - Please Help
Yes, I would say that Iron is more private than Google Chrome. Here are some of the differences that you can find between Chrome and Iron: http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron_chrome_vs_iron.php Of course, using a Chromium-based browser such as Iron is still one step closer to Google than, ...

Re: Iron not connecting to the Internet
Are you using a proxy? If not, can you confirm that there is no proxy set? To confirm this, please go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN settings and make sure that the checkbox next to “Use a proxy server for your LAN” is not checked.

Re: Click an email address, a different browser opens
It happens. Perhaps Comodo Dragon became the default application for email when it was installed. Anyways, I’m glad to hear it worked! Thanks for letting us know.

Re: Click an email address, a different browser opens
Can you confirm if the MAILTO protocol is tied to the program that you wish to open when you click on the email address? (Whether it's Thunder Bird or another program) To confirm if this is the case, open the Control Panel and left click Default Programs. After that, left click “Associate a file typ...

Re: New Iron-Version: 36.0.1950.0 Stable for Windows
I always have the same problem : I can't open any link in skype, thunderbird, etc... It's becoming really annoying. I had an issue similar to this too and was frustrated for months before I finally found what caused it. The problem for me occurred when a new version of Iron changed the exe name fro...

Re: New Iron-Version: 29.0.1600.0 Stable for Windows
I can confirm that Iron 29 gives me the 'aw snap' crash too whenever I am in Gmail or even Youtube. The browser renders most, if not all, of the webpage before it crashes. In fact, I needed to choose "Basic HTML" in Gmail to avoid the crash. I am not sure if it is flash related or if there is anothe...
