Ah, balls. My sound issue didn't disappear with this update. Google sounds – GVoice notifications, Google timer, etc. – are absent no matter what I do with the settings. Perplexing.

I've been waiting for this update for a week or so, but now I believe I'll wait for the next one. If users are rolling back to 28, 29 doesn't sound like a fix for my particular woes.

I have this very same problem, and yet it seems as though I'm signed in. All my Google pages come up without asking for further sign-in so something's working. Weird glitch.
