Re: Auf wierdersehen Iron, it's been nice since v5.0.380

I also work in IT and have been using Iron fo a long time and installing it on many computers. I noticed that Iron has lately lost some of it's "differences". A "chrome.exe" file appeared in version 32 and the 12 preview thumbs in the "new tab" page are gone, despite being still listed in http://www...

Back to release 31...

Getting no answers about those "lost differences" between Iron and Chrome (8 new tab thumbs instead of 12... http://www.srware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=7626) I decided to switch back to release 31 (without "chrome.exe"), waiting to better understand what is being changed. I got my 12 thumbs ba...

Waiting for info - switching back to 31

I'll switch back to release 31, or to the previous one without "chrome.exe",
waiting to better understand what is being changed.

New tab preview thumbs - from 12 to 8 ?

The latest Iron releases seem to have lost one of the most blatant "Chrome vs Iron" differences (despite it being still listed in www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron_chrome_vs_iron.php ) : the 12 preview thumbs in the "new tab" page. Two questions arise: 1 - is there a way to restore the 12 thumb...

Re: Iron Portable and Google Earth Plugin

Well, this lack of answers seems to mean that the GE plugin can not be included in Iron Portable, which is a pity.
Let's hope it becomes possible in the future.

Re: Setting history limit

I know I can technically use any Chrome Extension. I also think, however, that there must be some reason behind the decision to exclude from chrome-plugins.info some of the extensions available in the Chrome Web Store. I really don't think chrome-plugins.info maintainers choose extensions to include...

Iron Portable and Google Earth Plugin

I know that plugins such as Shockwave Flash player and Adobe Reader can be "included" in Iron Portable by creating a Iron/Plugins folder and putting the respective dll files (nppdf32.dll and so on) into it. I'd like to do the same with the GE plugin, without having to install it in the main system. ...

Iron Portable - ShockWave 11.5 not working

In order to upgrade the ShockWave Flash Player plugin I put the new file (NPSWF32_11_5_502_110.dll) in the Iron\Plugins folder, where the old one (NPSWF32_11_4_402_265.dll) was. I did the same in the past with no problems. This time, however, the trick does not work and, when entering a Web Page wit...
